Aim and Moto

B.A.(P) Society, Parvartan, aims at a holistic development of the students of B.A.(P) course. It provides a platform for the students to showcase their talents, enrich their intellectual capacity and critical thinking.

Participations and Achievements of Students

The students of B.A.(P) course have participated in numerous competitions, inter and intra-college and have won prizes bringing acclaim to the institution.
Manas Dixit secured third position in poetry writing competition held on 5th June 2020, organised by Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College, University of Delhi, under National Service Scheme.
Manas Dixit got second prize for creative writing competition held on 6th November 2019, organised by Women Development Centre/FCC, Satyawati College (Day), University of Delhi.

Manas Dixit successfully completed online orientation course on Nonviolent Communication held on 29th June, 2021, organised by Gandhi Smriti & Darshan Samiti an autonomous body under Ministry of Culture.
Manas Dixit secured first position in debate competition held in 2018-19 organised by B.A.(P) Society, Satyawati College (Day), University of Delhi.
Manas Dixit received participation certificate for his participation in 3 day international webinar organised by Hindi Department of Satyawati College (Day),University of Delhi in collaboration with Delhi Hindi Sahitya Sammalen held on 27th to 29th May 2020.
Manas Dixit received a consolation prize in Yoga Quiz competition held on 23rd June, 2020.
Manas Dixit was invited to participate in "The Mahatma in Me" by sending a one-minute video by Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti & Doordarshan.
Manas Dixit presented his speech on "The Mahatma in Me" on DD National on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti 2020.
Manas Dixit got second prize for Quote Writing Competition held on 14th May, 2020, organised by Rangmanch Charitable Trust (Reg.).
Manas Dixit secured third prize in Gandhi Quiz held on 21st January, 2021, organised by National Gandhi Museum.
Srijan Shukla secured first position in RAAG (online classical singing competition) organised by the TRINITY Institute of Professional Studies, New Delhi. (Affiliated to GGSIPU). held on first to third December 2020.
Srijan Shukla's name found a special mention in "Shades of Me" an online navras-expressions competition organised by the dramatics club of IIT-Indore, held from 30th December, 2020 to 11th January, 2021.
Avinsah Kumar got a first prize in STRATAZENITH organised by Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi, held on 5th February,2020.

Seminars

B.A.(P) Society, one of the most dynamic societies of the college has had an eventful years packed with series of academic and co-curricular activities. The years have been replete with diverse endeavours and witnessed an active participation from students. the following events were successfully organised.
Debate competition held on 18th October, 2019 exclusively for the students of first year B.A.(P) course on the topic "Free Transportation Hampers Women's Empowerment"
A lecture by Prof. Anand Kumar on "Relevance of Gandhian Ideas" was held on 13th February, 2020.
An interactive cum orientation sessions with the first year B.A.(P) students was organised online on the 27th & 28th November, 2020.
Career Vision UPSC-CSE, UGC-NET Guidance webinar for the students of third year B.A.(P) course was organised on 24th April, 2021.
Story Writing Competition organised for the students of B.A.(P) students. The story to begin with the one-liner "One more time we were strangers, but this time with memories". Entries were open from 17th September till 11PM on 22nd September, 2021.
An interactive cum orientation seminar for UPSC aspirants on the topic "The Road to Success: A Motivational Talk on Career Guidance" was organised in association with Shashwat-The History Society on 10th November, 2017.
