About Me
Associate Professor
I pursued my M.A., M. Phil., Ph.D., from Centre for English Studies, School of Language Literature and Cultural Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. My specialization includes Film Studies, The theory and practice of translation and comparative literature, Contemporary literary and cultural theory. Apart from being the present Teacher-in-charge, I was the NSS Programme Officer of our College for the academic sessions 2015-17. I was also the Convenor of Arts and Culture Society for the academic sessions 2015-17. I am an ardent admirer of sports, was the Convenor of JNU Weight-Lifting Club , and have secured positions at University level. I am interested in culinary aesthetics, Indian classical music and art forms, and exploring the multi-faceted dimensions of our rich cultural heritage.
